REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY — Melognite

Effective date: 22 August 2026 · Provider: Casa Santa Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Beethovenstraße 14a, 42579 Heiligenhaus, Germany · Contact: hello@melognite.app

1. Who processes your payment

All purchases are processed by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle is your contractual counterparty for the payment and issues your invoice. Refunds are therefore executed by Paddle on our instruction or under Paddle’s own buyer terms.

2. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel any plan at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, via your account menu (Plan → Manage subscription) or the Paddle customer portal linked from your receipt. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you paid for; no further charges are made.

3. EU/EEA right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of contract conclusion without giving reasons (§ 355 BGB). Because Melognite is a digital service that begins immediately, we ask for your express consent at checkout that performance starts before the withdrawal period ends; where you have consented and the service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal expires (§ 356(5) BGB). Where it has not expired, we refund all payments received without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of your withdrawal, using the original payment method.

4. How to request a refund

Contact Paddle via help.paddle.com or the link on your receipt, or write to us at hello@melognite.app — we will forward the request to Paddle. Please include the email address used at checkout and the receipt number.

5. Plan changes

Upgrades take effect immediately; the remaining value of your current period is credited automatically, so no period is ever paid twice. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period already paid. No refund is owed for a downgrade unless statutory law provides otherwise.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory warranty rights or any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
